Overseas Signing- Alex Breckin

The Burleigh Bullsharks are excited to announce the signing of overseas amateur Alex Breckin from Bury Cricket Club. Alex is a recent graduate from University of Liverpool after completing his Business Management Degree at just 22 years of age and is ready to embark on an overseas season of cricket down under!

Brecko, as he is more affectionately known, is a strong left arm bowler and left handed middle order batsman that will add great variation and depth to the club. He has knocked up 3357 runs at an average of 30.24 as well as taking 212 wickets at an average of 17.57 for his home club Bury CC. Brecko has representative honours under his belt after being selected to represent Lancashire in the U/15 and U/17 divisions also.

We are excited to welcome Alex to the club on his first overseas adventure and am sure he will fit right in with the Bullshark culture!!
